This sweet children’s story was written by Bernice Frankel and illustrated by Leonard Weisgard. This is a 1961 Weekly Reader Book Club edition. The story is about a small deer that outsmarts a tiger and impresses his older, bigger brothers. The entire book is printed in mustard yellow and brown. This book would make the perfect bedtime story or be perfect in collage, altered or mixed media art projects. Taken apart each page would be lovely framed separately. There are thirty-eight pages and measures eight by ten and three quarter inches. The pages are starting to come loose.
