Celebrating Christmas in the Caribbean holds special childhood memories for me, window shopping with my family to admire the beautiful Christmas store decorations, my mom planning ahead for what she was going to prepare for the big day itself with delicious traditional foods and drinks. These childhood memories will live with me forever and after coming to Canada my siblings and I continue the tradition with our kids and grandkids by preparing the same foods and drinks we enjoyed so much each Christmas, so that they too can experience the joy we felt from Christmas in the Caribbean.
