Often I buy a book because I love the cover. This is one of them. (I’m also left-handed so that’s a bonus).
This vintage children’s book is titled The Fighting Southpaw. Written by Richard T. Flood. Illustrated by Robert Candy. Published in 1949 by Houghton Mifflin Company.
This book is in nice condition. It was a school library book. It has the library card and envelope in the back (see photo). There are also a couple of school name stamps inside. The pages all look good, although they have yellowed with age. The covers look good. I love the retro drawing on the front cover.
Book is approximately 5.5″ x 8.25″.
